Virat Kohli responds after Rajat Patidar shares an update after surgery

Rajat Patidar, a great batsman for Royal Challengers Bangalore, had surgery successfully, and the middle-order batsman is anticipating a quick recovery. After having surgery, Patidar posted a photo of himself, and Virat Kohli, another member of the RCB, commented on the photo on Instagram.

Due to Patidar's Achilles heel injury, who had already been ruled out of the current IPL 2023 season, the middle order for RCB has fallen short of expectations.

In a long post on social media, Patidar revealed that he underwent surgery to address a problem that had been bothering him for some time. The 29-year-old also hopes to quickly regain his previous level of fitness.

“I just wanted to quickly inform all of my online fans. I just had surgery for a wound that had been bothering me for a long, and I'm delighted to report that everything went well and that I'm now on the path to recovery! I can't wait to return to the field and pursue my greatest passion. I really appreciate every person's prayers and well wishes; they mean the world to me. Soon, Patidar wrote on social media.

Suyash Prabhudessai wished his friend a quick recovery, while Virat Kohli also showed interest in the message by like it.

“Speedy recovery champ,” Prabhudessai wrote in response to the image.

RCB tweeted in response to the image's repost, “Good to hear about the successful operation, Ra-Pa.Next year, we can't wait to see you back in RCB colors! I'm sending you my love and my best wishes.

Patidar was a significant player for RCB last year, helping the team advance to the playoffs. In fact, the Madhya Pradesh batsman scored a century in the IPL 2022 semifinal between RCB and Lucknow Super Giants, ensuring LSG's elimination from the competition.

The majority of RCB's runs this season have come from players like Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, and Glenn Maxwell, while the other middle-order batsmen have struggled and experienced wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik is seeming to be a shell of his former self.

With 10 points after 9 games, RCB are presently in fifth position in the IPL 2023 standings. On May 6, they will face the Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
