Why should the Met Gala just be enjoyed by humans? Even cockroaches may have a starry moment, and intriguingly, the Met Gala 2023 ended up being fortunate for them.
On Tuesday, a cockroach landed on the Met Gala red carpet. The cockroach was seen scurrying up the stairs in a video provided by Variety while paparazzi got close-up pictures with their cameras.
The beetle skillfully made its way up the stairs by darting from side to side over the carpet.
The cockroach's video quickly became popular online. After the cockroach made its debut on the Met Gala
red carpet, internet users had a field day.

The “best dressed award goes to Mr. Cockroach,” a social media user said.
“Hahahah, this is too funny,” a user on the internet said.
The subject of this year's Met Gala is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” in remembrance
of the life and career of the late fashion designer. Along with creating clothing for his own line during his career, Lagerfeld also created collections for Chanel, Fendi, Balmain, and Chloe. Penelope Cruz, Michaela Coel, Roger Federer, Dua Lipa, and of course, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour are this year's gala co-chairs.

About 400 people attended the invitation-only fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute.
Karlie Kloss and Serena Williams, two celebrities, announced their pregnancies that evening.
Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Kylie, Kendall, Ashley, Naomi, Pedro Pascal, Doja Cat, Cardi B, Bad Bunny,
and Florence Pugh all showed off their stylish selves at the event.

Bollywood superstars Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra also attended the Met Gala in 2023.
Alia makes her debut at Hollywood's largest fashion event at the gala.
Alia chose a spotless white gown with a flowing shape from Prabal Gurung's racks. Priyanka, on the other hand, sported a black Valentino gown. Nick Jonas, her husband, was with her.
